Technically it's the 7th's. Can't say there was a settled version for Mr. 8. Could say it's the 8th's in the same way you could say the 7th's is the 6th's. They didn't normally toss the old set for the casting of a new actor. I'm actually put off by the frequency of change for show features like that. Actually I'm put off by the whole thing. You can't go home again. We learn that eventually.
